My name is Chris Coldwell and I started Learning Electric as a project during my Graduate studies in Educational Technology at Texas A&M Commerce University. After receiving my degree I noticed that Learning Electric had developed quite a following and was filling a need in our schools. It is for this reason that I have continued on with the endeavor. Learning Electric now serves thousands of K-12 and Higher Ed Institutions around the world, and the list is growing every day. Our goal is simple. To provide schools and individuals with free, online training at their convenience. If you are interested in becoming a contributor to Learning Electric contact us at Support@LearningElectric.com
Our library contains hundreds of tutorial videos for multiple software applications. Our content is created by certified teachers, for teachers and students. We are continuously adding tutorials, so check back with us often to see new content.
Currently we are providing online streaming videos in QuickTime format. Streaming technology allows you to view the videos before they have completely downloaded. We also compress our videos to accommodate the bandwidth of our customers. With compression and streaming technology you can view our tutorials quickly without waiting. QuickTime is a plug-in that can be downloaded for free and it works on both Windows based PCs and Apple computers. The QuickTime file extension is .MOV. You can download the latest version of QuickTime from Apple's web site. Get it now!
